Welcome.

Today we rented a car and went on a mini-roadtrip north along the coast of California in order to shoot some pictures for my class on monday, and just to get out of the city for one day. We were really lucky with the weather and everything, so definatelly the greatest day in a while! – We had a blast.. Oh, and the videos are in norwegian.

I just realized I haven’t been blogging for a while, and now here I am enjoying my pizza and a movie on a chilly San Franciscan Night (ref. bottom of this post). Things has just been really busy indeed. With school and everything it’s basically taking up all my spare time causing less sleep, and making things a bit stressful during the week. Sometimes I have homework stalking me through the weekends too. But I don’t mind, school is only 15 weeks each semester, and I’m already 4 weeks in. Soon midterm is coming up, so I’ve already got one of the assignments out of four.

On top of everything I’ve gotten three requests from clients back home to design or build websites for them, so I’m just trying to do as much as possible these days. Weather hasn’t been that good the last weeks, so there’s at least one less distraction to worry about.

So today I’ve pretty much been all around downtown San Francisco shooting pictures for my Digital Photography class tomorrow. At least I managed to get a few decent pictures for my assignment involving shadow/highlight studies, and curves vs straight lines in nature. I have attached the ones I will be turning in tomorrow, and also a video my friend Morten shot/made in a flash from today. I’m not in it cause I met up with them later on, but this is where I’m at..

Here a some pictures I took today on my way to meet with Bjørn at Starbucks. Just wanted to share a few of the things I experience and walk past everyday. I’ll try posting more pictures when my schedule allows me time to. I’ll take more pictures tomorrow as well, because I have an assignment I need to present on monday for my photography class. Enjoy! Now I’ll go down to Pearl’s burger for my saturday night dinner..

Sorry for the lack of updates recently people, I’ve just been busy with everything going on at school and with homework. I feel I’m finally getting settled these days, the daily routines are finally falling into place, and I feel comfortable with everything going on now. I have found the places I will be visiting frequently in order to get dinner, groceries and my regular coffee.

I’m now sitting at Starbucks with Bjørn enjoying a Grande Mocha Frappuccino. It’s nice and sunny outside, and the temperature today is close to 17 degrees Celsius, which pretty much feels like summer back home, except there is no humidity yet. I shot a lot of pictures on my way over here, and I’ll try to do some more on my way back home for you guys to check out.

I guess it’s time to update you folks out there again. I’ve been doing all kinds of stuff lately, but mostly I have been at school. I have now had at least one of each of my classes this week, which has been interesting. I guess I’ve already decided what classes I will enjoy the most, but I’m still open to anything so things might change further into this semester. The ones that I really look forward to are Digital Photography 1, and Motion Graphics 1. Those are the classes directly connected to my major, and the other two are Sketching for Communication and Silkscreen which I guess I already talked a bit about. The two last ones are the ones who are required for me to take, so there is no way of swapping those. But I don’t mind, they could be interesting as well.
