End of week threeShort URL
I guess it’s time to update you folks out there again. I’ve been doing all kinds of stuff lately, but mostly I have been at school. I have now had at least one of each of my classes this week, which has been interesting. I guess I’ve already decided what classes I will enjoy the most, but I’m still open to anything so things might change further into this semester. The ones that I really look forward to are Digital Photography 1, and Motion Graphics 1. Those are the classes directly connected to my major, and the other two are Sketching for Communication and Silkscreen which I guess I already talked a bit about. The two last ones are the ones who are required for me to take, so there is no way of swapping those. But I don’t mind, they could be interesting as well.
I’m about to deliver my first assignment for Digital Photography tomorrow, so I’m a bit anxious to see how that goes. I feel I come prepared, so we’ll see.. I also plan to attend workshops for both DP and Motion Graphics in order to get some extra credit, and I guess it’s a good way to get even more out of your classes, and they’re free and are usually from 7pm-10pm which are the hours I tend to do my best work, so it will be fun.
Yesterday I went to Bjørn’s party with one of my new friends, Christian who is from Las Vegas, and so I guess we had a lot of fun. Met a lot of new people, and stayed there for a couple of hours. It was cool, I think most of the people there were students from the academy, but also other random people. The fun thing about San Francisco and the people I’ve met here is that none of them are really from San Francisco, I mean I’ve met people from New York, Florida, Ohio, Pakistan, Mexico, Brazil etc. I guess people over here are more friendly than back home, or at least more outgoing and willing to meet new people even though some of them has been here even three or four years already. So it’s always nice meeting new people outside of class, inside of class I find it a bit more difficult. But I guess that will come naturally once we really get started and people start to speak more.
I felt this was sort of a lousy post, but at least you get to see what I’m up to these days. I haven’t really been sightseeing either, but I’ll try to take a few pictures for my next post. By the way, I finally managed to get the donate button in place. It’s sort of just a joke, but if you can “Spare a change?” – then feel free :) Mari finally booked her flight, and the other guys will hopefully book theirs this upcoming week, so I guess this could turn out to be a great summer!

Men kanskje snart! GID… Farmor
